I think this is very important at this time in our history and needs the widest attention that can be made, all politics aside this is a great group if you are a Vet, know a Vet or have a family member who is serving now or has served. Our service members who came home from Vietnam were treated in the most disrespectful manner I have ever seen. I know because I was one of them.

WARRIOR LEGACY FOUNDATION

The official launch of the Warrior Legacy Foundation is this Monday, Memorial Day. Obviously this day has deep significance for all of us and the legacy of our fallen is first and foremost in our minds as we move forward. They gave us this country and this opportunity and we thank them by remembering their sacrifice.
We want to involve all of our members as much as possible and we believe strongly in the power of social networks. You are our strongest asset. Our goal is to get a positive message about military service out to as many people as possible. The only time most people hear about the military is when someone is killed or portrayed as a victim. We will do all we can for those hurt physically or mentally, however most who served are made better by the experience and we want the country to know that.
The fact that there is a need for our group to exist is a symptom of the larger problem. Many of you have seen the quote "The military is at war, America is at the mall". Most Americans rarely run into our service men and women.You can represent the millions who have served by reaching out to your neighbors and co-workers. We want to raise your voices above the cacophony of bad news. We want our returning warriors to be proud to say they served in Iraq or Afghanistan. They should be proud to have served on a ship in the Indian Ocean. We want the Vietnam vets to receive the recognition they were cruelly denied when they came home. We want our WWII and Korean vets to know that their service is  remembered. And our Cold War vets who stood ready for a war that didn’t happen will know all their efforts were valued.
So how do we do this? We start by getting our launch announcement to as many media outlets as possible. We have an extensive list of reporters who cover the military and national security, but here is how you can help. Take a look at your local media and send the press release to whoever seems appropriate. Paste the text in an email and attach the pdf. If you feel up to it, let them know you are available to talk about the group. If you get a response please let  know and we will add them to our database. If you have friends or others who share your support of the military, send them the press release and ask them to join us, post something on Facebook, Tweet a Twitter. We gain power with every new voice and member.
We will be announcing more ways for you to get involved over the coming weeks and I want to thank every one of you for stepping up and joining us.

Obama Seeks to Reduce Costs by Limiting Medicare Reimbursements for Hospital Readmissions

I am only part of the Medicare that you are forced into by Social Security and medical retirement, which I did not want. But this kind of shit pisses me off so much that I can’t even spit in The Obama’s direction. Now as some may remember I have to go into the hospital from time to time for treatment. Now when I am in the hospital, they automatically submit to Medicare for a portion of the cost of my treatments, if I had a choice I would never have had anything to do with Medicare we would have had a use for all that money they took out of my check for all those years.

(CNSNews.com) – In a cost-saving measure tied to the proposed expansion of health care, the Obama administration is seeking to reduce hospital readmission rates by rewarding or penalizing hospitals through Medicare payments.

Proponents say this will force hospitals to do a better job of follow-up care, follow a more responsible discharge policy and promote better preventive measures. Opponents of the plan think it would, along with other proposed measures, result in the rationing of health care.

Almost one-in-five hospitalizations of Medicare beneficiaries results from readmissions of patients who were discharged from the hospital in the last 30 days, according to the White House.

II don’t have any fuckin’ choice in the matter, other than to die. I’m not ready for that option.

“Sometimes the readmission could not have been prevented, but many of these readmissions are avoidable with better discharge planning and follow-up care,” said a White House fact sheet.

“To improve this situation, hospitals will receive bundled payments that cover not just hospitalization, but care for 30 days after the hospitalization. Hospitals with high rates of readmission will be paid less [through Medicare] if patients are readmitted to the hospital within the same 30-day period.”

The hospital plan is part of the fiscal year 2010 budget and would save an estimated $25 billion over the next 10 years, according to the White House.

It may or may not save the gov. money in his precious budget, but it will screw the rest of us. Your and my private paid health insurance cost will go through the roof. Any time I hear “according to the White House”, with this White House I know it is a scam and a FUCKIN’ LIE.

Obama now controls the banking industry, telling them who to fire and what to do with the money, who to loan money to. Dictating to GM and Chrysler which dealerships to close, ignoring how successful those dealerships are. Some have noted that possibly it is on the basis of whether the owner of the franchise is Conservative or Democrat Socialist. I have always bought Chrysler products and I will be damned if they will tell me what kind of car to drive. If it takes going to junk yards for parts, so be it.

These people that are being sucked in to buy these pretend vehicles that weigh twelve hundred pounds just so they can get thirty miles to the gallon, have no idea how much danger they are putting themselves and their families in. When one of those pieces of crap is in a collision at sixty miles an hour, there are few who survive.

Food prices going sky high. Try to find a pair of shoes you will be able to afford. Now Obama is taking over the credit card companies, and interest is going way, way up. They will computerize every one of our health records so some non elected clerk will dictate what kind of treatment we can be given. They are touting how great the Brits and the Canadians are doing with national health care. Sure just ask any Canadian, they will tell you how great it is, while at the same time they are down here in the states to get the treatment or surgery they would die waiting for at home.

I’ve had my medical controlled by the federal government since I was a baby through Indian Health services. The country does not want their medical care to be the same. It took five years for an MRI to be approved for a headache that did not go away for the entire time. A secretary, with NO medical training, decides what treatment will be done. The cost is the first concern. Our clinic can not keep doctors because they get so frustrated at not being allowed to actually treat the patients. This is what Obama wants for everyone. Main stream America better beware!!!!

ABC’s Jonathan Karl contended in a Wednesday night World News story, that the Republican Party is no longer big enough for Rush, and moderates like Colin Powell and Senator Arlen Specter. It is a joke when Charles Gibson and Jonathan Karl are telling the Republican Party which way to go. It seems strange that ABC, CBS and NBC have all come out with almost the same “Advice” in the past few days. I think they are getting the talking points straight from the horses ass Rahlm Emanuel and Old Snake Head.

Specter is no Republican he was a Democrat when he was first running for office years ago. He switched parties when he realized he would never get elected as a Democrat. Now he has switched back for the same reason, he knows he will not be re-elected as a Republican, Pat Toomey would stomp him in the primaries. He may have sealed his own fate though, he has a very slim chance of winning the Dem primary.

As for Colin Powell, Fuck him, I’m with Dick Cheney on this one, I would pick Rush over Powell in a heart beat. Dick Cheney will most likely never get the credit he should get. He truly is as Sean would say A great American.

Just like good old smilin’ Nancy Pelosi claiming “I was not told anything about enhanced interrogation techniques being used on (murderous terrorists) detainees to get information to save American lives.” Fox News got the Congressional record and proved on national tv that she is a lying Bitch. You wont hear about any of that on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNBC or especially PMSNBC. I imagine little Chrissy boy gets a tingle up his leg when he sees Nancy, no wait, I don’t think Mr. Mathews swings that way.

All of the elected officials need to be reminded of this. Perhaps this and a copy of the constitution would be appropriate for them to read along with the oath they took which is at the bottom of the following. I am very afraid for our country, if this administration succeeds in all of the things they are pushing through, this country will crumble around us. I pray for my children and grand children.

Matthews Demands: How Do We Prosecute Bush and Cheney?

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Well if it turns out that those who drew the lines and said it was okay to use waterboarding and other coercive techniques, violated the law, and those people who did so include the Vice President and the President what do we do? You say we might consider prosecuting them. But how do we do it? Under what law do we go after them? Under international law? Under U.S. law what do we hit ‘em for? If we do it?

REP. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Well I think we need not to get ahead of ourselves Chris. I think we need to make sure that we are examining where, certainly the buck tops with the President and the Vice President. But did they, the question is did they specifically issue those orders or were they more general? I mean I think we’re, we’re, we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves before we start talking about prosecuting the President and the Vice President. But we certainly need to examine who, and how and why the individuals in the Department of Justice ordered CIA interrogators to torture detainees that, that were detained after, after, after 9/11.

MATTHEWS: But in principle you have no problem with us looking at the whole potential criminality of the behavior of anyone here, in this regard?

SCHULTZ: There is no one that is above the law in the United States of America.

MATTHEWS: Okay thank you very much, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida.

Better be careful what you wish for Chrissie. If this goes forward and Republicans are paying attention, next time the balance of power swings back to the Pubbies, there may not be the free passes the Clinton administration received. prosecutions can go both directions. How about a picture of 0bama, Pelosi, Biden, Franks, Dodd and a very long list of Dems in adjoining cells. I can live and.  look forward to that. I have an idea, let’s toss in a whole bunch of RINOS to keep them company.

Of course if Matthews really wanted to pursue all of those who approved of waterboarding that list would also have to include House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. According to a December 9, 2007 Washington Post story Pelosi along with other Democrats, in September 2002, were given "a virtual tour" of the "CIA’s overseas detention sites," shown interrogation techniques, including waterboarding, "But on that day, no objections were raised."

So Pelosi and the other Dems made no objection. For good reason also Chrissie, It’s not Fuckin’ torture.

Mr. Matthews I invite you to join me at one of my other blogs, Stinger’s Cave, I will be glad to educate you on what constitutes torture. Ask Jack Bauru about torture, if it takes a nine mil through a knee cap to prevent a bomb from going off or an assignation attempt being carried out, so be it.

If it does not end up in the death of the person being interrogated, I have a real problem calling it abusive torture when you are trying to protect lives.

Compare waterboarding to what the Islamists consider proper interrogation techniques, I don’t consider sawing someone’s head off for fun to be proper techniques.

Back to you Chrissie, with a pair of pliers, a blow torch, a ten inch piece of wire and a small flat bladed screw driver, within fifteen minutes I will know every thing you have ever known. Every dirty little thing you have ever done, wanted to do or thought about doing.

When we are finished with our conversation, you will be able to walk out of the cave on your own power, and I will have things to write about for years, and guess what, I wont use even one of those terrible things, waterboarding, sleep depravation or fear of dogs, that you are so sure are illegal.
