Freedom’s Brushfires
Nov 5th, 2009 by skyzot63

"It does not take a majority to prevail … but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." –Samuel Adams

those words are so true still this day. One year ago this month, the misguided and misinformed people of this country elected Barack Hussein Obama. Since taking office with strong majorities in both houses of Congress. He has set out on a task to destroy the  country that I fought for and shed blood for.  We still have American men and women fighting and dying for all of us who enjoy the freedom of this country, that includes all those liberal bastards in Congress and on the Huffington Post, Daily Kos. Media Matters, all those left-wing websites, discussion boards. who would like to see the soldiers, sailors, marines, all of them arrested and put in prison.
That is why we have all of the Key Parties, Town Hall Meetings and in general, peaceful protests going on in this country, many people across the country have finally began to wake up. We must take our country back, I refuse to see this great country turned into a socialist Third World cesspool. Not as long as I am alive and able to fight. I hope that the coming fight can be a war war of words and actions and not result in bloodshed. This has to be a different kind of revolution.
The moderate Republicans in Washington DC need to take note. We are not going to tolerate your waffling actions any longer you will be voted out in the process. Perhaps some of our Democrat friends can take out the Socialist Democrats. I don’t want a socialist in Any part of our government. This is not a socialist country, and I do not want it to turn into one.

The 2010 and 2012 elections are probably the most important elections of my lifetime. I just pray that I am alive to vote in both of those elections.
My friend The Conservative Crawfish calls the politicians in Washington. Secular Socialists, I have to agree with him. Even the elected Republicans in Congress, with very few exceptions are Secular Socialists.

The Obama administration as the printing presses running 24/7 printing money, the value of the dollar is going through the floor.
Now they have the hubris to try to shove this unconstitutional monster of a health bill down our throats. We must take back Congress in 2010, and we need to take back both of them with big majorities, and for any of the liberal commenters that show up here from time to time and care to complain about me saying it’s unconstitutional. Bring proof, show me a line in the Constitution that grants Congress the right and power to force American people to buy anything. I’m not inclined to believe that Medicare and Medicaid are even legal. Much less welfare.

Is this what you wantr?

This is not what I want for my family and my country. These stupid fuckin’ people on DU, Kos and Huff n Puff just don’t get it. When you can get an appointment for your dog within one day but you have to wait a month to see a doctor for yourself. There is something very wrong with this picture.

The Demoncrats in congress have all gone freakin’ nuts. They act like they never heard of The Constitution, they are acting with total disregard for the wishes of the American people. They are acrting like the TEa Parties never happened. They are taking their marching orders from the likes of Moveon,  Democrat Underground, Daily Kos, Huffington Post and other very leftwing, I might even say that in my opinion Communist groups.

They truly do not give a fuck what the people who pay their checks think. I for one am sick and fuckin’ tired of this phony administration and all the bullshit coming ot of Washington. They no longer represent us, the people. I would call that tyranny. The time is very near for a second revolution. It makes no difference which party is in power. This revolution must be at the ballot box. Years ago a friend, Jim Eason coined the fraise D R I P, (Don’t Re-elect Incumbent Politicians). I think that sounds like a very good idea.

We The People Stimulus Package
Aug 24th, 2009 by skyzot63

This is about 6 or 7 minutes long, but well worth the time. This video pissed off Pres. Zero a lot. He can’t stand or tolerate people telling the truth. Zero can’t handle the truth. Jimmy Carter must be happy since he is no longer the worst President, ever.

Bob Basso author of "Common Sense" plays the role of Thomas Paine to ignite the fire of change in America. Patriotism and Pride for America lead Thomas Paine to help take back America!

Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine

His words still ring true today. This speech is 10 minutes long but well worth the time to listen, especially in these days of our country under assault by Chicago Thugs.

I for one do not want some Government appointed lackey in Washington, deciding what kind of medical treatment I or my family will receive. We have been doing just fine on our own. In short, OBAMA STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY LIFE, YOU CHICAGO PUNK!!

Mr. Zero, perhaps you should go back to Chicago or Kenya or Indonesia or where ever the hell you were born and get some management skills by running a lemonade stand, try hiring a couple of people. That will challenge you to meet payroll, handle payroll taxes, hiring and firing and such things that are involved with running a business.

Your days as a community organizer just do not qualify you to run a country. It takes a hell of a lot more to be President of The United States. I’m so sorry Mr. Zereo, you are not qualified, it is above your pay grade.

Some Americans are waking up
Jun 23rd, 2009 by skyzot63

There may be hope for this country yet.

From David Limbaugh

The latest daily Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll has Obama slipping into negative net approval territory, with more Americans strongly disapproving of his performance (34 percent) than strongly approving (33 percent). Just 54 percent of voters say they at least somewhat approve. Even the Gallup Poll reports a decline in his approval rating to a new low, albeit still at 58 percent. The decline results from a drop in support among independents, as well as Republicans — but not Democrats.

Please go read the rest. I am optimistic may now that Pres.0 may not last until 2012. Now the only ones strongly supporting him are the hardcore Leftists. Plus if you have the intestinal fortitude to visit the (This is the one and only time I will ever link to them)     Democrat Underground  Just hold your nose and dive into any of the Threads or Diaries, or better yet go to DUmie FUnies. The guys there seem to enjoy making fun of them. The current Thread shows just how upset they are with The Messiah.

Another attack on America from Within!
May 29th, 2009 by skyzot63

From The Washington Post Once Considered Unthinkable, U.S. Sales Tax Gets Fresh Look

The latest attack on America from the administration of President Zereo is going to be a Value-Added Tax (VAT. Adopting such a program from the European Union is just the latest program intended to screw the American people without them even realizing it until it’s to late. I would compare this to putting a frog in a pot of cold water and then turning on the heat to medium. The frog doesn’t notice the change until he is cooked.

Once a VAT is in place, politicians can easily increase the tax with almost no oversight. Take a look at Europe, The tax levels are something we have never seen in this country.

A VAT is sneaky and almost unseen. It sucks a tiny little bit of money from each step in the production or manufacturing process. It is almost like an underground operation, people will hardly notice it at first. It will raise a massive amount of money for the government to play with, it will never be enough for them. They have no intention of eliminating the IRS, so we will be subject to a double Federal Tax.

This VAT should be strongly resisted until they eliminate the IRS. I don’t think the Republicans have the balls to do it. I would like to see a Fair Tax in this country like a National Sales Tax of for that mater a VAT, but there have to be restrictions on what the fuckin’ politicians can do with that money and what the rates would be.

From The Wapo:

"There is a growing awareness of the need for fundamental tax reform," Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) said in an interview. "I think a VAT and a high-end income tax have got to be on the table."

A VAT is a tax on the transfer of goods and services that ultimately is borne by the consumer. Highly visible, it would increase the cost of just about everything, from a carton of eggs to a visit with a lawyer. It is also hugely regressive, falling heavily on the poor. But VAT advocates say those negatives could be offset by using the proceeds to pay for health care for every American — a tangible benefit that would be highly valuable to low-income families.

Liberals dispute that notion. "You could pay for it regressively and have people at the bottom come out better off — maybe. Or you could pay for it progressively and they’d come out a lot better off," said Bob McIntyre, director of the nonprofit Citizens for Tax Justice, which has a health financing plan that targets corporations and the rich.

A White House official said a VAT is "unlikely to be in the mix" as a means to pay for health-care reform. "While we do not want to rule any credible idea in or out as we discuss the way forward with Congress, the VAT tax, in particular, is popular with academics but highly controversial with policymakers," said Kenneth Baer, a spokesman for White House Budget Director Peter Orszag.

Still, Orszag has hired a prominent VAT advocate to advise him on health care: Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and author of the 2008 book "Health Care, Guaranteed." Meanwhile, former Federal Reserve chairman Paul A. Volcker, chairman of a task force Obama assigned to study the tax system, has expressed at least tentative support for a VAT.

"Everybody who understands our long-term budget problems understands we’re going to need a new source of revenue, and a VAT is an obvious candidate," said Leonard Burman, co-director of the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, who testified on Capitol Hill this month about his own VAT plan. "It’s common to the rest of the world, and we don’t have it."
Seeking New Revenue

The surge of interest in a VAT is testament to the extraordinary depth of the nation’s money troubles. While some conservatives have long argued that a consumption tax would provide a simpler and more efficient alternative to the byzantine U.S. income tax code, this time it’s all about the money.

The federal budget deficit is projected to approach $1.3 trillion next year, the highest ever except for this year, when the deficit is forecast to exceed $1.8 trillion. The Treasury is borrowing 46 cents of every dollar it spends, largely from China and other foreign creditors, who are growing increasingly uneasy about the security of their investments. Unless Congress comes up with some serious cash, expanding the nation’s health-care system will only add to the problem.

Obama wants to raise income taxes for high earners and impose new levies on business, but those moves would not generate enough cash to cover the cost of health care, much less balance the budget, and they have not been fully embraced by Congress. Obama’s plan to tax greenhouse-gas emissions could raise trillions of dollars, but again, Congress is balking.

Key lawmakers are considering other ways to pay for health reform, including new taxes on sugary soda, alcohol and employer-provided health insurance. The last proposal could raise a lot of money — nearly $1 trillion over the next five years, according to White House budget documents. But options on the table would raise a fraction of that sum. And while it might pay for health care, it would barely dent deficits projected to total nearly $4 trillion over the next five years and to grow rapidly in the future, as baby boomers draw on Social Security and Medicare.

Enter the VAT, one of the world’s most popular taxes, in use in more than 130 countries. Among industrialized nations, rates range from 5 percent in Japan to 25 percent in Hungary and in parts of Scandinavia. A 21 percent VAT has permitted Ireland to attract investment by lowering its corporate tax rate.

The VAT has advantages: Because producers, wholesalers and retailers are each required to record their transactions and pay a portion of the VAT, the tax is hard to dodge. It punishes spending rather than savings, which the administration hopes to encourage. And the threat of a VAT could pull the country out of recession, some economists argue, by hurrying consumers to the mall before the tax hits.
A VAT’s Bottom Line

What would it cost? Emanuel argues in his book that a 10 percent VAT would pay for every American not entitled to Medicare or Medicaid to enroll in a health plan with no deductibles and minimal copayments. In his 2008 book, "100 Million Unnecessary Returns," Yale law professor Michael J. Graetz estimates that a VAT of 10 to 14 percent would raise enough money to exempt families earning less than $100,000 — about 90 percent of households — from the income tax and would lower rates for everyone else.

And in a paper published last month in the Virginia Tax Review, Burman suggests that a 25 percent VAT could do it all: Pay for health-care reform, balance the federal budget and exempt millions of families from the income tax while slashing the top rate to 25 percent. A gallon of milk would jump from $3.69 to $4.61, and a $5,000 bathroom renovation would suddenly cost $6,250, but the nation’s debt would stabilize and everybody could see a doctor.
Sales Tax Gains Momentum

Burman, who helped House Democrats craft an unsuccessful 2007 plan to repeal the alternative minimum tax, said he’s received a number of phone calls from lawmakers interested in his idea, though "they can’t quite imagine how to make it happen politically." Burman said the 25 percent rate has caused some sticker shock, and he’s trying to figure out how to bring it down.

Graetz’s proposal drew an endorsement from Volcker, who last year called it "a sensible plan for reform." (Volcker did not respond to a request for comment.) It also has piqued the interest of Conrad, the Senate Budget Committee chairman who argues that it could be modified to accommodate Obama’s pledge not to raise taxes on families who make less than $200,000 a year.

"I think interest is quietly picking up," Graetz said. "People are beginning to recognize that the mathematics of the current system are just unsustainable. You have to do something. And a VAT has got to be on the table if you want to do something big and serious."

Still, the Senate Finance Committee declined to include a VAT among the options it is considering to pay for health reform. And even VAT supporters doubt the tax will find a place among the tax-reform proposals the Volcker panel has been asked to produce by Dec. 4.

Though the nation’s fiscal outlook is grim, Burman said "the situation will have to get more desperate" before lawmakers are likely to consider a new levy aimed directly at the pocketbooks of every one of their constituents.

Most lawmakers are still looking for "a painless source of revenue" to overhaul the health-care system and dig the nation out of debt, Burman said. "Who knows?" he added. "Maybe the tooth fairy will bring that to them."

We need a new law
May 27th, 2009 by skyzot63

We need a law to limit the number of times the temporary resident of The Oval Office cam speachify on national TV. I am sick of the daily, some days multiple, propaganda teleprompter speeches. Not even Clinton was on the tube each and every day. This guy, President Zereo truly is a Chicago punk. He is in overdrive to jam all of his very radical agendas down the throats of Americans. I think he is doing it to get them done before people decide to look behind the curtain and discover just what a fraud he is.

I just hope not an un-recoverable amount of damage is done. I pray for the good health of the conservative Supreme Court Justices. If his nomination of this radical leftist, anti second amendment judge goes through, and I assume it will since we are afflicted with a bunch of spineless republicans and rinos in te Senate. I wonder, NOT, where she stands on immigration? I pray for our Country, Freedom and our Second Amendment Rights. What ever happens WASS (We Are So Screwed)

Uncle Sam’s Way-Too-Nosy Survey
May 26th, 2009 by skyzot63

From The New York Post

By Meghan Clyne
Writer

Where’s the outrage?

With all the recent obsessing over the “rights” of terrorists in Guantanamo, and the idea that President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee should support “the constitutional right to privacy,” you’d expect the civil-liberties crowd to be inflamed by the federal government forcing Americans to disclose sensitive information about their finances, health and lifestyles.

You would be wrong.

Where’s the outrage indeed? I have not received this fuckin’ survey yet. I don’t know what I will do if and when I do get it. I take that back, I know exactly what I will do with it, it will go in the trash with the rest of the garbage. I will deal with the five thousand dollar fine for trashing it. The Federal Government knows all they need to know about me. They have my tax records, my military record, my social security number and record, my drivers license number and record.

They don’t need to know what kind of toilet we have or what kind of toilet paper we buy. With their minions in Acorn planting GPS tags on each our homes and this very disgusting and intrusive survey, this administration is making this country look and feel more like Nazi Germany each and every day.

Recently nearly 3 million Americans were sent the American Community Survey. An annual supplement to the decennial Census, the 28-page survey pursues obnoxious nanny-state details such as whether your home has a flush toilet, what kind of fuel you use for heat and how much you spend on everything from electricity and flood insurance to your mortgage and property taxes.

This fucker has gone from Chicago community organizer to the highest office in the land with no media questions. In my entire life I have never witnessed a completely un-veted president before. We don’t know for sure whether he was born in Hawaii, Indonesia or Kenya. The Leftist just say “Of course he was born in Hawaii, now go sit down and shut up!”. I’m sorry to disappoint you, you Leftist Communist Swine, I for one of many have no intention of shutting up.

Then come the really nosy questions, ranging from your college major and your health insurance to how you spend each day at the office. The survey even asks what time you leave for work, down to the hour and minute.

It also asks whether, "because of a physical, mental or emotional condition," you have difficulty "concentrating, remembering or making decisions," "walking or climbing stairs," "doing errands alone such as visiting a doctor’s office or shopping" or "dressing or bathing."

So much for keeping government out of the bedroom. The survey also demands your current marital status; whether you’ve been married, widowed or divorced in the last 12 months, and how many times you’ve been married. If you’re a woman between the ages of 15 and 50, you must also answer whether you’ve given birth in the last 12 months. The Census Bureau says this "measure of fertility" is used to "carry out various programs required by statute, including . . . conducting research for voluntary family planning programs." What was that about a "woman’s right to privacy"?

It’s tempting to toss the survey in the circular file, but recipients are required by law to respond. According to the Census Web site, the fine for nonparticipation can be as much as $5,000, and filing false information can pack a $500 punch.

Why all this intrusion? The Constitution allows for the "enumeration" of Americans for the purposes of taxation and apportioning political representation — but this survey isn’t part of the head-counting. The information is used by the government to spread around your tax dollars and justify federal bureaucracies; it can also be distributed to private businesses.

The Feds say that the info will stay secure, Ya riigghhtt, that has worked out so very well in the past the Chinese will have it by Tuesday. The 0bama administration is America’s worst nightmare. It’s like we have been or are being taken over by Hugo Chavez. I think it is only a matter of time before the “Brown Shirted” civilian army will begin rounding people like me up. That is going to be a war. I may be crippled, but I have been to war before.
