No comment is needed for this article from The Obama File

Senior aides to Barack Obama accompanied four Uighur prisoners as they were flown from Guantanamo Bay to the British colony of Bermuda, without the United Kingdom (UK) being informed, it was revealed In early June, 2009, angering the UK.

In an escalating diplomatic row over the transfer of the former terrorist suspects, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton discussed the transfer with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband in what was said to be an uneasy conversation.  Privately Whitehall officials accused America of treating Britain, with whom it is supposed to have a "special relationship," with barely disguised contempt.

Remember, in February, in one of his first exchanges with the UK, Obama sent a bust of Winston Churchill back to Britain.  Then, in March, Prime Minister Gordon Brown faced humiliation after he was snubbed by Obama.  During Brown’s visit, the Prime Minister brought several meaningful and valued items to give to Obama.  What he got in return was 25 CD’s of classic movies, that were incompatible with the UK format.  Then, in April, Obama gifted Queen Elizabeth II with an iPod, a gift that was criticized by etiquette experts.

In June, Queen Elizabeth — the only living head of state that participated in WW II — was snubbed and not invited to the D-Day ceremonies, described as a "Franco-American" event.

In September, it emerged that Barack Obama had turned down no fewer than five requests from Downing Street to hold a bilateral meeting between Obama and Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, at the United Nations in New York or at the G20 summit starting in Pittsburgh on September, 24th.

Obama has not missed a single opportunity to insult the Brits, one of our greatest allies.

Accidents?  I hardly think so.  The US State Department, Office of the Chief of Protocol, under the direction of Acting Chief of Protocol Laura B. Wills, is responsible for avoiding these gaffes.  Career bureaucrats, working out of the White House are in place to ensure insults such as these, don’t occur.  So, they must be purposeful — but why?

It’s my opinion that Obama’s divided loyalties are at the bottom of his treatment of the UK and he harbors a deep and abiding hostility towards the Brits because of the treatment he believes his grandfather and father received during British colonial rule.

During Obama’s first visit to Kenya in 1988, his grandmother Sarah told him about the resentment against white colonial rule in Kenya, with rallies and mounting violence that would explode into full-scale rebellion in 1952.  "Most of this activity centered on Kikuyuland," she told him.  "But the Luo, too, were oppressed. Men in our area began to join the Kikuyu"

"Granny Sarah" told Obama that Hussein Onyango Obama, Obama’s paternal grandfather, became involved in the Kenyan independence movement while working as a cook for a British army officer after World War II.  He was arrested in 1949 and jailed for two years in a high-security prison where, according to his family, he was subjected to horrific violence to extract information about the growing insurgency.  Sarah, said that her husband had supplied information to the insurgents.  "His job as cook to a British army officer made him a useful informer for the secret oathing movement which would later form the Mau Mau rebellion," she said.  "At the time the insurgents were secretly taking oaths which included promises to kill white settlers and colonialists," Mrs. Onyango said.

"To arrest a Luo, WW II veteran, who was a senior figure in the community, is pretty serious.  They must have had some damn good evidence," said Professor David Anderson, director of the African Studies Centre at the University of Oxford, and an authority on the Mau Mau rebellion.

Obama refers briefly to his grandfather’s imprisonment in his best-selling memoir, "Dreams…," but states that his grandfather was held only for "more than six months."  Obama described his grandfather’s physical state: "When he returned to Alego he was very thin and dirty.  He had difficulty walking, and his head was full of lice."  For some time, he was too traumatized to speak about his experiences.

Barack Obama Sr., Onyango’s son and Obama’s father, seems to have inherited his father’s attitudes towards the colonial power.  He was also arrested, for attending a meeting in Nairobi of the Kenya African National Union (KANU), the organization spearheading the independence movement.  Sarah told Obama that his father, unlike her husband, had been held only for a short time in the white man’s prison: "Because he was not a leader in KANU, Barack [Sr.] was released after a few days."

Onyango may have been a victim of the fight for Kenyan independence, but his son became a direct beneficiary of that movement.  In 1959, Barack Obama Sr. was sent, on a scholarship, to the University of Hawaii.  Obama Sr. was selected by a former Kenyan cabinet minister, the late Tom Mboya, who was earmarked as the successor to Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya’s first prime minister and  leader of the terrorist Mau Mau.

It is clear that the Obama’s were close to the leadership of the independence movement.  It is also clear that Obama’s "divided loyalty" — his anger at the white British colonists’ treatment of his grandfather and father — is behind all of these insults to America’s greatest ally.

"Divided loyalties" was an issue during the Constitutional Convention because of the Founders fear of foreign influence and the possibility of incidents, such as the ones mentioned above.

In fact, Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts wanted to take the issue so far as to stop foreigners from becoming citizens at all, claiming that the naturalized citizens would always have divided loyalties both to their home land and to America.  John Jay, Superintendent of Foreign Affairs (the predecessor of today’s office of Secretary of State), claimed that it would be "wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen."

Pierce Butler, an Irish-born delegate from South Carolina, developed an intense plan that would defeat all objections arising against earlier proposals for electing the president.  However, given the doubts concerning divided loyalties that Elbridge Gerry, John Jay, and others expressed, Butler’s proposal also included what became Article II, Section I of the Constitution.

It is evident that the Founders had a clear reason to fear conspiracy and divided loyalties, and it is evident that Obama, a native-born Kenyan, has allowed his divided loyalties influence his judgment and behavior in regards to the UK.

This is personal and purposeful.

And don’t even get me started on Obama’s divided loyalties and Islam.

Just what the hell are the politicians thinking? I can not believe what is going on in Washington.

Watch this video: Hat tip Freedom Thinker

This is enough to bring tears to your eyes. My wife and I have lost 500 K in equity in our home, my oldest daughter has lost 400 K, we are not begging for a bailout. My wife’s 401 has lost 45 K. That happened so fast there was nothing to prevent it. Mine was safe since when I retired I moved the entire 401 into asset protection funds, in fact when everyone else was losing their asses, I actually made money.

0bama and his administration did not read up on the great depression, or they did and think they have a better plan. They are repeating the mistakes made in 1939 just on a much bigger scale

My personal opinion is that at this moment 0bama is on the fast track to turning our country into a Hugo Chavez style country. He hates and ignores The Constitution, one of his cabinet members I think it was Emanuel described it as just an old piece of paper. It may be old but it has made and kept this country on the top of the heap for all these years. They seem hell  bent on destroying it all.

God help us and our country.

The Obama Administration and Radical Islam

By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com | Wednesday, March 25, 2009

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Alex Alexiev, adjunct fellow at the Hudson Institute in Wash. D.C.

FP: Mr. Alexiev, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

During the last election campaign you wrote that if Barack Obama emerges victorious “the loudest cheers could come from the sworn Islamist enemies of our civilization.”

What are your views of President Obama’s policies with respect to radical Islam so far and do you still believe that the Islamists have a reason to be happy with the new administration?

Alexiev: With a caveat that it is still too early in the new administration’s tenure to form a definitive opinion, I’d have to say that the Islamists, foreign and domestic, have every reason to be happy with the direction in which the president is taking the country. This is particularly clear in the realm of foreign policy, but is also manifesting itself in domestic policy.

Dising our allies is not a good start for pres. Zero. Sucking up to our enemies is even worse.

FP: Give an example. Start with the domestic situation.

Alexiev: Well, as I said, it is still early and the administration is not yet fully staffed – especially in the second-tier staff positions – so we don’t yet know what direct role radical Islamists are likely to play, but let me give you two examples that indicate either remarkable ignorance on the part of the White House with respect to Islamism or else a sympathetic attitude that is troubling.

The first is the invitation to the head of ISNA, Ingrid Mattson, to participate in the inauguration celebration as a guest of the presidential box. Now, it is well-known that ISNA is a key player in the Muslim Brotherhood subversive networks in this country and an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) terror financing trial. What must be particularly galling to our counter-terrorism officials is that Mattson and ISNA are still being coddled by the White House despite the fact that last November the HLF conspirators were found guilty on all charges and Justice refused to remove ISNA from the list of unindicted co-conspirators. Exactly what kind of message is Mr. Obama trying to send to our law enforcement?

The second case has to do with the notorious Saudi shill Charles “Chas” Freeman. He has been roundly criticized for his strident anti-Israeli and pro-Communist Chinese views and such criticisms are of course valid. But what’s much more important in my view is the fact that he has been a paid Saudi agent of influence for a long time, including publishing and promoting Islamic and anti-American propaganda in our schools. For a man who should objectively be considered a security risk to be been appointed the head of the National Intelligence Council is simply unconscionable. And yes, Freeman ultimately exited the stage, but the fact that he was appointed for the position speaks volumes.

He did his damnedest to sneak good old “Chas” into his administration. I think he did sneak enough snakes in to do a very thorough of destroying this country.

FP: Closing Guantanamo? Do you consider it a domestic or a foreign policy issue?

Alexiev: It cuts both ways really but the latest news from the administration could make it more of a domestic issue. We have just been told by Attorney General Eric Holder that the administration is now considering releasing some of these murderous thugs in America, since their own countries won’t have them, in order for Mr. Obama to keep his promises to the loony Left to close the facility next year. It is not difficult to imagine some of these cutthroats promptly reverting to jihad on American soil courtesy of the American government.

Now “Gun Grabber” Holder gets into the picture. If he as his way, we will all be disarmed and defenseless when they acquit those murderous thugs into the population.

FP: The recent foreign political initiatives of the White House?

Alexiev: It is clear that after only nine weeks in power, President Obama is embarked on a dramatic reorientation, or should I say about face, of American foreign policy in the direction of appeasement of our enemies and indifference or worse toward our friends, something we last saw under Jimmy Carter.

Take Obama’s eagerness to talk to those that don’t want to talk to us like the mullahs in Tehran, the decision to steer $900 million to Gaza, which, whatever the spin, means Hamas, and new efforts to appease Putin by reneging on our missile defense commitments to the Eastern Europeans, to name just a few examples.

In the process, the president has also reneged on key campaign promises. Let’s just take the Afghan issue for a minute. You would remember, Jamie, Obama’s tough campaign rhetoric about invading Pakistan to deny sanctuaries to the Taliban, going to the “gates of Hell” to get Osama bin Laden and winning the “good war” in Afghanistan as opposed to the bad war in Iraq.

I disagree on this one point of his, the people who voted Obama in could not care less about Osama Bin Laden, they would most likely invite him over for dinner.. They were consumed by BDS (Bush Deraignment Syndrome), hating anything that has the conservative taint has stolen their brains. Now Obama seems to be trying to outdo Carter. In my book, he has the dis-honor of being the worst president ever. I guess he wants to make it official. He can’t give away the Panama Canal, Carter did that, so I think we should keep an eye on other important things that he might give away. Like The Constitution, I don’t think he has any intension of using or following it.

Alex Alexiev has much more to say as he picks te rotting flesh from Obama’s worthless, skinny bones go here to read the rest. I would write more, but it is time for a nap. Getting up at three A.M. to go through news feeds is not as easy as it once was.

Time For A Good Rant

I am sick of the Political system we have in this country. We have Democrats and Republicans, the two major players in the political process. There is almost no difference in them these days. The Democrats have become so radically liberal as to become dangerous to the survival of this country. The party just needs to become the Liberal Party. That way they could go ahead and absorb the Communist Party,The Green Party, Atheist Party and any other fringe party since the platforms are so similar.  With that change we would all know what and who we are dealing with, after all those who call themselves “Moderate Democrats” only want to raise your tax rates by 40% instead of 90%. The overall view of the party has become the mantra of bi-partisanship, which in liberal speak for “Do it our way now sit down and shut up”

Now we get to the Republican Party, the Grand Old Party. It has become a gaggle of weak sister compromising weenies. They have thrown the Conservative values of Ronald Reagan out the window. They now want to “Cross The aisle”  and cooperate  and “Get Along”. That is why I think The Republican Party should become The Conservative Party. Sweep away all the RINOS, yepper I’m talkin’ about you Specter, Collins, Snowe and you John McCain. My patience with moderate Republican’s has grown very short. GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!!!!

The Conservative Party needs to be built around people who have the values of people like Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal and the future great Jonathan Krohn at CPAC. When a fourteen year old can get it, why the fuck can’t adults get it? In my book, the only time a conservative should cross the aisle, is to Bitch Slap a liberal for being either stupid or a liberal, they both work for me.

My days on this earth are approaching a close much sooner than I would have wished. If in the next few years it takes pitch forks and torches to take back our government, I have my pitch fork at the ready and I can make a torch in about five minutes. In my book, it is time to clean house in Washington, Sacramento and just about any other state capitol you would care to name. There are a few good Governors around, but they are Conservative before they are Republicans.

I don’t have a bucket of shit’s worth of respect for any of the politicians in power, either side of the aisle. We have needed Term Limits for a very long time. One stipulation on the term limits, let’s include all the entrenched beaurocrats also. The Government has been run by these non-elected fat cats for far too long. Clear them out, for decades they have continued their same agendas no matter who is in the White House. If you don’t believe it take a look at the State Department, the DoD, or any other department in Washington, there are people there who have been there for thirty of more years. Some of them most likely don’t even remember what job they are doing.

One of the biggest mistakes made in this country was allowing government employees to Unionize. Firemen, Police Officers, Air Traffic Controllers and all other government employees should not be allowed to go on strike. They should be well compensated for the work they do and the dangers they face. In my book school teachers are not paid enough, I’m talking about the teachers in the classroom the ones teaching our future generations. Not the fat cat administrators who sit in their big offices and set te curriculum for the classroom. They are the ones that are destroying the future of this country. They are changing history, if it is taught at all. Classroom teachers are restricted to the curriculum, it is based on the advancement tests, “teach to the tests” they are told. Our children and grandchildren are being indoctrinated in the liberal manor by the curriculum, the teachers have no choice if they want to keep their jobs. Oh wait, I forgot the TEACHER’S UNION another good reason to keep government employees from unionizing.

I think I have ranted enough today.

Another Attack On Our Safety!

6:57 am in Opinion by skyzot63

Found this at NewsMax:

Obama Wants to Disarm U.S. Pilots

This bunch of thugs and fools from Chicago and the Dems in Congress are hell bent on making us as vulnerable to another 9/11 type of attack. It is bad enough that they are going to bring those killers from Gitmo here, put them on trial in our court system and if they are found not guilty by way of any technical or other reason, release them in the United States. What a bunch of idiots. Do they not realize that these people want to kill all of us?

Now they are going to go after the airline pilots who are certified to carry a firearm in the cockpit of commercial flights.

From NewsMax:

Wednesday, March 18, 2009 12:19 PM
By: David A. Patten

The Obama administration is taking steps quietly to shut down the program that qualifies commercial airline pilots to carry firearms in jetliner cockpits in order to ward off another 9/11-type attack.

The administration recently diverted $2 million from a program to train and certify pilots to carry firearms safely while on duty. Instead, it is using the money to hire additional field inspectors to help discipline pilots who step out of line, according to a report in Tuesday’s Washington Times.

The translation of “field inspectors” Is simple, they will be there to nitpick and harass the gun totin’ pilots. I’m sure the Air Marshals are not far behind. Let’s face it, none of these elitist pigs and freaks ever fly on commercial flights. Those days are gone. I can just dream of being in the security line with Babbs Boxer or the Swimmer.

Obama is proving once again, that he and his cabal don’t give a rats ass about the safety and security of the United States and the American People. The NewsMax article continues:

A Times editorial condemned the Obama administration’s action, calling it “completely unnecessary harassment of the pilots.”

Since Obama took office, the approval process for certifying pilots to carry firearms has ground to a halt, the newspaper reports. Pilots are afraid to speak out about the behind-the-scenes maneuverings, for fear of retaliation, according to the newspaper. No cases have been reported in which pilots have brandished a weapon inappropriately or otherwise abused their eligibility to carry firearms.

About 12,000 pilots have been authorized to carry handguns while flying aircraft as part of the Federal Flight Deck Officers Program. Congress authorized the program in a 310-to-113 vote following the 9/11 attacks to help prevent terrorists from turning jetliners into flying bombs that could be used to attack key sites like the White House, the Pentagon, or Capitol Hill.

Paul Valone, a Second Amendment advocate who directs Grass Roots North Carolina (GRNC.org), is calling for citizens to contract their congressional representatives to protest the administration’s anti-gun priorities.

Pilots are already required to pay for their own room and board during training, and use paid leave for the time they’re off the job. Every six months, the program requires them to be requalified for firearm use.

Valone writes on Examiner.com: “While bureaucrats . . . may have attempted to hamstring the program with burdensome requirements, training instructors and the Federal Air Marshals who now oversee the program routinely thank the FFDOs for their professionalism and dedication in protecting the nation’s air commerce against terrorism.”

Valone says the Obama administration is “dismantling yet another layer of defense against terrorism and defying the will of the American people.”

Since coming to power, the Obama administration has undertaken a series of moves that signal a major de-emphasis of programs enacted to keep America’s homeland safe from terrorist attack:

  • Obama’s choice for U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, labeled enhanced interrogation techniques as outright “torture” during his Senate confirmation hearings.
  • Obama banned waterboarding and ordered CIA interrogators to abide by U.S. Army Field Manual regulations.
  • He selected Clinton-era political operative Leon Panetta to serve as his CIA director. Panetta’s qualifications to run the agency have been questioned widely.
  • Obama announced that he would shut down the Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba within one year, raising the prospect of hardened terrorists entering the U.S. criminal justice system, or worse, being released to rejoin al-Qaida.
  • He indicated the U.S. defense budget would be sharply reduced.
  • He has sent a letter to Russian leaders, apparently offering to back off on the ballistic missile defense system that would protect Europe from Iran and North Korea.

These and other Obama administration moves recently prompted former vice president Dick Cheney to charge that Obama is returning to the Clinton-era view of terrorism as a law enforcement issue.

“Now he’s made some choices that in my mind raise the risk to the American people of another attack,” Cheney said of Obama on CNN’s “State of the Union” program.

The Washington Times points out that about 70 percent of airline pilots have military backgrounds. With airport screening less than 100 percent effective, it states, armed pilots provide a second layer of defense.

“Only anti-gun extremists and terrorist recruits are worried about armed pilots,” the newspaper editorial says.
