Obama needs a history lesson

7:27 am in Administration, Economy, Obama Administration, Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin For President 2012, Secular Socialists, The Angry White Guy, the Killa from Wasilla, USA USA USA by skyzot63

This is from 1949, but is still true and very important today. Obama knows nothing about economics as anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows. Sorry Liberals and Secular Socialists, you are one short. H/T The Angry White Guy.

Trust me Sarah Palin understands this principle and will put it in place in 2012. Go Sarah, Go.

Kill the Bills. Do Health Reform Right

From Townhall.com

It is tacky to post other peoples articles, but some are just too important, not to post. The Secular Socialists are attempting to destroy America as we know it with this HealthCare scam and Cap n Trade. I see the possibility of an armed revolution in our future.

WASHINGTON — The United States has the best health care in the world — but because of its inefficiencies, also the most expensive. The fundamental problem with the 2,074-page Senate health-care bill (as with its 2,014-page House counterpart) is that it wildly compounds the complexity by adding hundreds of new provisions, regulations, mandates, committees and other arbitrary bureaucratic inventions.

Worse, they are packed into a monstrous package without any regard to each other. The only thing linking these changes — such as the 118 new boards, commissions and programs — is political expediency. Each must be able to garner just enough votes to pass. There is not even a pretense of a unifying vision or conceptual harmony.

The result is an overregulated, overbureaucratized system of surpassing arbitrariness and inefficiency. Throw a dart at the Senate tome:

– You’ll find mandates with financial penalties — the amounts picked out of a hat.

– You’ll find insurance companies (who live and die by their actuarial skills) told exactly what weight to give risk factors, such as age. Currently insurance premiums for 20-somethings are about one-sixth the premiums for 60-somethings. The House bill dictates the young shall now pay at minimum one-half; the Senate bill, one-third — numbers picked out of a hat.

– You’ll find sliding scales for health-insurance subsidies — percentages picked out of a hat — that will radically raise marginal income tax rates for middle- class recipients, among other crazy unintended consequences.

The bill is irredeemable. It should not only be defeated. It should be immolated, its ashes scattered over the Senate swimming pool.

Then do health care the right way — one reform at a time, each simple and simplifying, aimed at reducing complexity, arbitrariness and inefficiency.

First, tort reform. This is money — the low-end estimate is about half a trillion per decade — wasted in two ways. Part is simply hemorrhaged into the legal system to benefit a few jackpot lawsuit winners and an army of extravagantly rich malpractice lawyers such as John Edwards.

The rest is wasted within the medical system in the millions of unnecessary tests, procedures and referrals undertaken solely to fend off lawsuits — resources wasted on patients who don’t need them and which could be redirected to the uninsured who really do.

In the 4,000-plus pages of the two bills, there is no tort reform. Indeed, the House bill actually penalizes states that dare "limit attorneys’ fees or impose caps on damages." Why? Because, as Howard Dean has openly admitted, Democrats don’t want "to take on the trial lawyers." What he didn’t say — he didn’t need to — is that they give millions to the Democrats for precisely this kind of protection.

Second, even more simple and simplifying, abolish the prohibition against buying health insurance across state lines.

Some states have very few health insurers. Rates are high. So why not allow interstate competition? After all, you can buy oranges across state lines. If you couldn’t, oranges would be extremely expensive in Wisconsin, especially in winter.

And the answer to the resulting high Wisconsin orange prices wouldn’t be the establishment of a public option — a federally run orange-growing company in Wisconsin — to introduce "competition." It would be to allow Wisconsin residents to buy Florida oranges.

But neither bill lifts the prohibition on interstate competition for health insurance. Because this would obviate the need — the excuse — for the public option, which the left wing of the Democratic Party sees (correctly) as the royal road to fully socialized medicine.

Third, tax employer-provided health insurance. This is an accrued inefficiency of 65 years, an accident of World War II wage controls. It creates a $250 billion annual loss of federal revenues — the largest tax break for individuals in the entire federal budget.

This reform is the most difficult to enact, for two reasons. The unions oppose it. And the Obama campaign savaged the idea when John McCain proposed it during last year’s election.

Insuring the uninsured is a moral imperative. The problem is that the Democrats have chosen the worst possible method — a $1 trillion new entitlement of stupefying arbitrariness and inefficiency.

The better choice is targeted measures that attack the inefficiencies of the current system one by one — tort reform, interstate purchasing and taxing employee benefits. It would take 20 pages to write such a bill, not 2,000 — and provide the funds to cover the uninsured without wrecking both U.S. health care and the U.S. Treasury.

I am truly thinking that it will come to a second Revolution to get our country back. At this point the entire congress and the executive branch, including all staffers and bureaucrats, need tro go.

For the record, Ted Kennedy has died, i hope he gets very cozy with Satan. I say NO to Cap n Trade and ObamaCare or the KennedyCare, whatever  the Fuck they want to call it.

The Obama Fright Train headed for the cliff

I’m very sorry that this is all over the map. I am just so pissed about just about everything going on in this country right now. So sorry.

yes I mean Fright, Him and his administration are working overtime to scare the shit out of all Americans. I am getting sick of seeing him on TV every day with another propaganda speech. Although Hugo Chavez considers him an idiot, he must be proud to see him following in his footsteps..

Obama now controls the banking industry, telling them who to fire and what to do with the money, who to loan money to. He controls the auto industry, dictating to them what kind of cars to build even though no one except the worst kool-aid drinkers want to buy or drive. Dictating to GM and Chrysler which dealerships to close, ignoring how successful those dealerships are. Some have noted that possibly it is on the basis of whether the owner of the franchise is Conservative or Democrat Socialist. I have always bought Chrysler products and I will be damned if they will tell me what kind of car to drive. If it takes going to junk yards for parts, so be it.

These people that are being sucked in to buy these pretend vehicles that weigh twelve hundred pounds just so they can get thirty miles to the gallon, have no idea how much danger they are putting themselves and their families in. When one of those pieces of crap is in a collision at sixty miles an hour, there are few who survive.

Cap and trade is the biggest scam in history, just ask Mr. Gorebot. He has made millions off the global warming scam. Get ready for gas that we can not afford, taxes on everything through the roof. Food prices going sky high. Try to find a pair of shoes you will be able to afford. Now Obama is taking over the credit card companies, and interest is going way, way up. All I can say is WASS, (We Are So Screwed).

The hits just keep on coming. They are pushing national healthcare on the fast track. They will computerize every one of our health records so some non elected clerk will dictate what kind of treatment we can be given. They are touting how great the Brits and the Canadians are doing with national health care. Sure just ask any Canadian, they will tell you how great it is, while at the same time they are down here in the states to get the treatment or surgery they would die waiting for at home.

I was reading a message board this morning and found this message that shows that it is already here. I don’t know her name, but here it is.

nativedaughter
I’ve had my medical controlled by the federal government since I was a baby through Indian Health services. The country does not want their medical care to be the same. It took five years for an MRI to be approved for a headache that did not go away for the entire time. A secretary, with NO medical training, decides what treatment will be done. The cost is the first concern. Our clinic can not keep doctors because they get so frustrated at not being allowed to actually treat the patients. This is what Obama wants for everyone. Main stream America better beware!!!!

This lady has lived it I don’t want to.

This is bipartisan politics at work?

Just what the hell are the politicians thinking? I can not believe what is going on in Washington.

Watch this video: Hat tip Freedom Thinker

This is enough to bring tears to your eyes. My wife and I have lost 500 K in equity in our home, my oldest daughter has lost 400 K, we are not begging for a bailout. My wife’s 401 has lost 45 K. That happened so fast there was nothing to prevent it. Mine was safe since when I retired I moved the entire 401 into asset protection funds, in fact when everyone else was losing their asses, I actually made money.

0bama and his administration did not read up on the great depression, or they did and think they have a better plan. They are repeating the mistakes made in 1939 just on a much bigger scale

My personal opinion is that at this moment 0bama is on the fast track to turning our country into a Hugo Chavez style country. He hates and ignores The Constitution, one of his cabinet members I think it was Emanuel described it as just an old piece of paper. It may be old but it has made and kept this country on the top of the heap for all these years. They seem hell  bent on destroying it all.

God help us and our country.

Tax day TEA PARTIES

9:35 am in Economy, Freedom, Media, National, Obama, Peacfull, Politics, Protests, Taxes, Tea Parties by skyzot63

All across this country there are Tea Parties springing up today, Tax Day. Over three hundred of them in all fifty states.

They are being largely ignored by the Old press. The White House says they don’t know if pres. zero is aware of the protests. Of course he is unaware, he pays no attention to the American people. This administration is so blindly obsessed with installing all of the socialist agendas that occupies 99% of pres. zero’s mind, that none of them see what is going on in this country.

Unlike the very frequent left wing protests we see in San Francisco and other cities, these will be peaceful and civil protests. No window breaking, cars burning, public fornication, defecating, urinating or any of the other disgusting things seen at the SF protests. No Code Pink hags to be seen, no disgustingly ugly Boobs not Bombs hags.

These are just people who are fed up with Uncle Government sticking his hand into our pockets time and time again. For this we will be classified as “Right Wing Extremists”. Dangerous people we are, just like the Vets who are coming home.

I thought the department of Homeland Security was formed to protect us not attack us. With Napolitano at the helm, doing pres. zero’s bidding and Holder at the Justice Dept and wanting to dis-arm all Americans, who knows where this administration is going to go next.

I can not wait for 2010 since there are going to be a hell of a lot of Democrats joining these Tea Parties. Many of them are beginning to regret drinking the Kool-Aid these tax hikes are hitting them too. Just wait until the cap and trade scam goes into effect. Today will not end the protests, they are just beginning.

U.S. Seeks Expanded Power to Seize Firms

I watched the circus on Capitol Hill last week. All those congress critters taking turns bloviating about the bonuses the AIG people recieved. It is all smoke and mirrors to draw attention away from the destruction that they, along with that Idiot Moron Obama, are bringing down on this country. Now this from WAPO:

Washington Post Staff Writers
Tuesday, March 24, 2009; Page A01

The Obama administration is considering asking Congress to give the Treasury secretary unprecedented powers to initiate the seizure of non-bank financial companies, such as large insurers, investment firms and hedge funds, whose collapse would damage the broader economy, according to an administration document.

The government at present has the authority to seize only banks.

Giving the Treasury secretary authority over a broader range of companies would mark a significant shift from the existing model of financial regulation, which relies on independent agencies that are shielded from the political process. The Treasury secretary, a member of the president’s Cabinet, would exercise the new powers in consultation with the White House, the Federal Reserve and other regulators, according to the document.

So as it is the government (Obama) can seize banks, now they (Obama) is taking the power to seize more financial firms. To top it off Turbo-Tax-Timmy is going to be in charge. This administration is never dull. They pass the bill which included the authorization for the bonuses. I got a bonus each and every one of the thirty five years that I worked for the company I retired from, I hope they don’t decide to come after them. There is some new Bullshit every day, Obama is breaking all the speed limits to take this country to third world status.

The administration’s proposal contains two pieces. First, it would empower a government agency to take on the new role of systemic risk regulator with broad oversight of any and all financial firms whose failure could disrupt the broader economy. The Federal Reserve is widely considered to be the leading candidate for this assignment. But some critics warn that this could conflict with the Fed’s other responsibilities, particularly its control over monetary policy.

The government also would assume the authority to seize such firms if they totter toward failure.

Besides seizing a company outright, the document states, the Treasury Secretary could use a range of tools to prevent its collapse, such as guaranteeing losses, buying assets or taking a partial ownership stake. Such authority also would allow the government to break contracts, such as the agreements to pay $165 million in bonuses to employees of AIG’s most troubled unit.

The Treasury secretary could act only after consulting with the president and getting a recommendation from two-thirds of the Federal Reserve Board, according to the plan.

So now they want the authority to take partial ownership of these companies. That sounds much like the auto companies. The government dictates that the car companies produce those stupid death trap “Green Cars” that no one wants to drive. Of course there are those here in California who have bought into the green (Al Gorebot) scam. I pity them if they are in an accident.

"We’re very late in doing this, but we’ve got to move quickly to try and do this because, again, it’s a necessary thing for any government to have a broader range of tools for dealing with these kinds of things, so you can protect the economy from the kind of risks posed by institutions that get to the point where they’re systemic," Geithner said last night at a forum held by the Wall Street Journal.

The powers would parallel the government’s existing authority over banks, which are exercised by banking regulatory agencies in conjunction with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Geithner has cited that structure as the model for the government’s plans.

It is about time for Americans to take a look behind the curtain. We need to know who the puppet master is. Is George Soros pulling the strings? Is it Hugo Chavez? How about Putin or Amadinnerjacket? My money goes on Soros, he ges his fingers into everything related to the Democrat party. Someone is pulling the strings on this puppet that is temporarily residing, free of rent, in our HOUSE.
