I have a great deal of fear of what is going to happen next in our country. With Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats cramming this monstrosity down our throats. It almost seems like the Senate Republicans are caving in and allowing them to pass the subsequent votes needed to get it passed and sent to the House for Conference.  Our only hope is that the 2010 elections give the Republicans a super majority in both the House of Representatives and Senate. If they can get a veto proof majority in both houses they can overturn this monstrosity and get things back where they belong, I like my health insurance, and I don’t want anybody screwing with it. Below are just a few of the monstrous things in this bill. 2012, cannot get here soon enough for me, our only hope is that someone like Sarah Palin could be elected in 2012. If she decides to run. I am pretty confident that she can win.

• Medicare is slashed by $470 billion, including cuts to Medicare home health care services. These are cuts the Congressional Budget Office says will "reduce access to care or diminish the quality of care” for seniors

• Medicare Advantage is cut $120 billion for seniors

• Raises taxes by $518 billion, including new taxes on the middle class, new taxes on wheelchairs, pacemakers, heart valves, and other medical devices, and new taxes on individuals and employers who do not retain the type of health care plans that Washington dictates

• Senate Democrats’ bill creates an Independent Medicare Advisory Board (IMAB) of non-elected government bureaucrats, empowered to cut Medicare providers limited access to care for seniors

• The bill forces a huge unfunded federal mandate on states to expand Medicaid, with the exception of those states where Democrat senators cut “sweetheart deals” with Obama and Reid for their vote

I honestly and foolishly thought that it would take him at least. His first term, or only term to destroy this country. Now he’s on the doorstep of destroying the country in one year, one vote away from destroying the healthcare of the United States. The people in the House of Representatives and the Senate who voted for this piece of crap can not be punished enough. I honestly don’t know if this thing could be overturned. Once past and put into law, because we all know the President Zero will sign it. He is absolutely desperate to get anything passed, no matter what kind of piece of crap that is.
I don’t know who wrote this I found it on Newsbusters in light of things it seems quite appropriate. I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, enjoy it while we still have the freedom to do so.

Congress’ Night Before Christmas

Yet they claim they’re in touch with the man on the street,
as John Q. Public struggles to make both ends meet.
If all workers decided what they were due,
they’d be getting those fat paychecks too!

But while we take cutbacks or raises quite small,
and one out of 20 has no job at all,
our millionaire Congress decides on the budget
land trimming Medicare and Medicaid will do it, they say.

In this season for giving, our Congress is taking.
We’ve had it with them and our backs are breaking.
With hard times, disasters, and layoffs on our dockets,
we bit the bullet and they fill their pockets!

Oh jobless, oh homeless, oh desperate and needy –
dare anyone say our Congress is greedy?

If in this feeling I’m not alone,
take up your pen or pick up your phone.
As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
let the road of your anger mount to the sky.

Indignant, outraged, appalled and beset
let your congressman know that you won’t forget!
When election times comes — and certain it will —
you’re voting him out for passing that bill.

More rapid than eagles, their elections assured
they toasted each other and laughed at the herd.
And I heard them exclaim with adjournment at hand,

"Merry Christmas to us, and the public be damned!

scientific scandal dubbed "climategate," it’s because Big Government, Big Business and Big Green don’t give a s*** about "the science." They never have.

What "climategate" suggests is many of the world’s leading climate scientists didn’t either. Apparently they stifled their own doubts about recent global cooling not explained by their computer models, manipulated data, plotted ways to avoid releasing it under freedom of information laws and attacked fellow scientists and scientific journals for publishing even peer-reviewed literature of which they did not approve.

Now they and their media shills — who sneered that all who questioned their phony "consensus" were despicable "deniers," the moral equivalent of those who deny the Holocaust — are the ones in denial about the enormity of the scandal enveloping them.

So they desperately try to portray it as the routine "messy" business of science, lamely insisting, "nothing to see here folks, move along."

Before the Internet — which has given ordinary people a way to fight back against the received wisdom of so-called "wise elites" — they might have gotten away with it.

But not now, as knowledgeable climate bloggers are advancing the story and forcing the co-opted mainstream media to cover a scandal most would rather ignore.

The problem, however, is those who hijacked science to predict a looming Armageddon unless we do exactly as they say, have already done their damage.

The moment they convinced politicians the way to avert the End of Days was to put a price on emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the unholy alliance of Big Government, Big Business and Big Green was forged.

Big Government wants more of your taxes. Big Business wants more of your income. Big Green wants you and your children to bow down to its agenda of enforced austerity.

What about saving the planet, you ask? This was never about saving the planet.

This is about money and power. Your money. Their power.

If it was about saving the planet, "cap-and-trade" (a.k.a. cap-and-tax) — how Big Government, Big Business and Big Green ludicrously pretend we will "fight" global warming and "save the planet" — would have been consigned to the dust bin of history because it doesn’t work. We know it doesn’t work because Europe’s five-year-old cap-and-trade market — the Emissions Trading Scheme — has done nothing to make the world cooler.

All it’s done is make hedge fund managers, speculators and Big Energy giddy with windfall profits, while making everyone else poorer by driving up the cost of energy, and thus of most goods and services, which need energy to be lighted, heated, cooled, grown, constructed, manufactured, produced and transported.

Once again the spineless Republicans have snatched defeat the from the jaws of victory. With the passage of the Stupak Amendment. They gave the blue dog Democrats the chance to cover their butts to their constituents by voting for the amendment. And then they could vote yes on the Pelosi bill. Did they wonder why so many Democrats voted for the Stupak bill? Are they so foolish that they think that amendment will be in the final product? I think not. That amendment will be shoved under the carpet gone. Perhaps if they had watched this video, they would’ve gotten a clue as to what they were doing. But I doubt it.

This is an extremely disturbing video. Our school children being taught to sing praise to 0bama. If this happened when a Republican was in The White House, Libs would be screaming for real blood. Well Libbies I am screaming for symbolic blood. These teachers and the school principle, board members and who ever approved this should be fired and possibly brought up on charges, I don’t give a fuck if they are tenured or not. It  is way passed time to take our country back from the public employees unions and liberals. It was a huge mistake to ever allow any public employee union to form. We have lost that battle since the unions now own a sizable chunk of one of our car companies. We must pick our battles on a local level, if we stop just one at a time, we can have hope. I don’t want to lose another generation of kids.

What we can do is GO to school board meetings of go to your Childs classroom and confront the teacher directly. Any parent who says that didn’t know this was going on is stupid or such an over the top 0bamiac that they are beyond help and the kids should be removed from their homes. They don’t deserve to be parents. Bastardizing the Battle Hymn of The Republic as they did in the second song on the video is just flat out FUCKIN’ wrong. One of these traitors thought it was so cool that they video taped it, un-fuckin’ believable.

I am truly thinking that it will come to a second Revolution to get our country back. At this point the entire congress and the executive branch, including all staffers and bureaucrats, need tro go.

For the record, Ted Kennedy has died, i hope he gets very cozy with Satan. I say NO to Cap n Trade and ObamaCare or the KennedyCare, whatever  the Fuck they want to call it.

Since I am retired, I spend a lot of time reading a bunch of forums. I ran across this anonymous gem. Wish I could state it so well.

As I heard from an old friend yesterday, let’s see if we can figure this HopeyChangey Chicago-style Kenyan administration out.

Here’s the way it looks so far . . . what “The-One-We’ve-All-Been-Waiting-For” wants to do is tinker with a health-care system that 85% of the people are already satisfied with so that 10 million people who don’t even want to be part of a health-care system will be covered, along with 12 million or so illegal aliens and a few million others who either aren’t eligible or interested . . . right?

He wants us to have a health-care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, and he wants Congress to pass it even though almost no members of that body have read it and they’re exempt from it anyway . . . that correct so far?

And at the bottom line, after Congress, who will never have read it, passes it and sends it up to the Alien-in-Chief, we’re supposed to live with it because it’s signed by an imposter who smokes cigarettes and hasn’t read the thing either, and it will be funded by a treasury secretary who didn’t pay his taxes, with money from a country that’s so far in debt that it’ll never get out, and it will be overseen by a surgeon general who doesn’t meet the body-mass-index guidelines for good health.

Hell, what on earth could possibly go wrong with a sweet deal like that? Well, let’s look at some facts ‘n’ figgers:

U.S. Postal Service — established 1775 – 234 years to get it right but it’s broke, heavily subsidized, and can’t compete with private sector FedEx and UPS.

Social Security — established 1935 – 74 years to get it right; it’s broke.

Fannie Mae — established 1938 – 71 years to get it right; it’s broke.

Freddie Mac — established 1970 – 39 years to get it right; it’s broke. Together Fannie and Freddie pulled the entire world into the worst economic collapse in 80 years.

The War on Poverty — started in 1964 – 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our tax money is confiscated annually for redistribution to “the poor”; it hasn’t worked.

Medicare and Medicaid — established 1965 – 44 years to get it right; both broke; and now the government presents them as models for all US health care.

AMTRAK — established 1970 – 39 years to get it right; despite bailouts it continues to run at a loss!

The Stimulus Bill of 2009: A trillion dollars committed in this massive political show. It shows NO sign of success except to increase the size of governments across America. It has yet to create a single new private sector job. Our national debt projections (approaching $10 trillion) have increased 400% in the last six months.

“Cash for Clunkers” — established in 2009 and went broke in a matter of [days]. Most (80%) of the cars purchased were produced by foreign companies, and dealers nationwide are buried under bureaucratic paperwork demanded by a government that is not yet paying them what was promised.

War on Drugs — well, let’s just say it’s not working despite billions of dollars wasted and thousands of lives ruined.

So now a rookie who may not even be qualified for the job of President wants us to buy into a system representing nearly one-fifth of our entire economy which would be designed, managed, and funded by a government which can’t even turn a profit on a Nevada whorehouse?

Uhhmmmmm . . . let’s think about this, guys. I mean, how is it any different from the one Slick and Shrill tried to foist off on us back in the 90s? Only thing I can see is that it’ll cost more. And nobody’s even read the thing?

I remember my grandfather saying to me one time on a cold winter morning when the furnace was acting up and the coal bin was nearly empty: “Boy, when you hear a man say, ‘Tell ya what I’m gonna do for you, son,’ don’t let him do it TO you.”

This writer should think about a future in politics.
