My name is Paul Wilson. I am not the golfer or the baseball player or the college professor. I am a Husband, Father and Grandfather, damned proud of it too! My only claim to fame is that I thought to register my name as a web site long before it was cool to do so. I get many E-mails from people who think that if they send a message to paul@paulwilson.com, it will magically get to the one they intend it to go to. Some I respond to, most not.
I have two blogs that I try to keep up to date. I am never up to date on either. The Black Hole, is somewhat political and The Other Side is just my random thoughts and twisted logic.
I am a Republican. The first 30 years of my life were spent in the twisted, sick world of the Democrat Party. It is mis-speak to call them the Democratic Party, they are not democratic. They should take off the rubber noses and the shaggy wigs, and call it The Socialist Party.
If a person knows who they are, does it follow that they know what they are?
A little town in North Texas, called Bowie is where I was born. I am very proud to be a Texan even though I have been stuck in the Republic of Kalifornia since 1944. Unlike The Dixie Chicks, I am very proud that The President of The United States is from Texas. I no longer consider the Dixie Chicks country music stars. They have moved themselves into the Loopy Leftwing Hollyweird Know Nothing realm. Be gone DC.
I am a veteran of The United States Army, Military Police (1963 to 1967). A member of the NRA and GOA, I am an avid defender of the 2nd Amendment. I am just damned proud to be an American. I have always been in awe of the fact that any American could just have easily been born in Iraq or the middle of China. None of us appreciates the luck of the draw enough.
In 2000 we discovered that Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma had invaded my body. Things were a little grim for awhile, I didn't know if I would survive. With the help of some very good doctors, the prayers of many friends and family, it is dead and gone. Attitude is everything when you are fighting for your life. I was pissed off for six months while I fought the cancer. Every time I woke up I told it "There is another day you didn't kill me, you bastard. Now get out of my body!".
I have always been an avid pool player, a country music and NASCAR fan. Since 1976 I have worked for the largest wine producer in the world. I love hot spicy food. I grow my own peppers, make my own sauces and ground powders. Peppers are a healthy food. They keep your head clear and the blood flowing.
I have lived in quite a few places in my life. None of them rose to the level of California. I do hope that the sensible people can take California back. The Crazys have been in control for too long.
